The Team
Jim Schwertman, Owner. Jim graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1968. He has been in the real estate business for over 30 years. He has a CA Real Estate Broker's License and a CA Finance Lender's license. Jim founded Lighthouse Funding about 16 years ago to merge his vast experience in the finance business with his desire to help families purchase affordable housing. If you have any questions regarding the manufactured housing business, especially financing, feel free to ask him. He's always available to answer your questions.
Laura Moore, Office Manager. Laura handles all of the day-to-day operations at Lighthouse Funding. If you have any questions regarding the progress of your loan, Laura is the one to talk to. She speaks fluent Spanish and has helped many of our Spanish-speaking clients through the entire loan process using their native language.
